Data Dimensions has implemented a new process improvement initiative for the work we do for the Veteran’s Benefits Administration (VBA) to reduce processing Time. The ultimate goal is to have veteran claim-related documents complete their trip through our workflow in only six hours. The “We’ve Got Your 6” initiative means that the VBA will get the data they need much sooner and, most importantly, the veterans whose information we process will be able to receive their benefits in a greatly reduced time. 

Some of the steps we’ve taken so far include the installation of new letter openers and scanners which allow us to process documents faster and more efficiently, and the addition of Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) throughout our internal processes to further enhance automation and drive efficiencies. Additional process improvements are being developed and tested daily.

As part of the internal launch of this new initiative, we held a commitment party where a banner was signed by Data Dimensions team members and hung as a daily reminder of what we’re doing – and who we’re doing it for. We also had the good fortune of having visitors from the VBA onsite that day who were able to see how dedicated our team is to achieving the six-hour TAT goal.

The Data Dimensions team has been honored to process the work that directly impacts our nation’s veterans for the past 7 years. As this project evolves into new phases with new targets and milestones, our team remains extremely dedicated to providing the highest level of service and delivering results that meet the goals of this important project.
